natural verdigris on copper, composed with three distinct patinas, inspired by Gee’s Bend quilter Rosie Lee Tompkins’ quilts: Thirty-six Nine Patch, 1996 and Untitled, 1998. The base panel on the left is an abstraction on copper composed with chemicals, time, and a wadded up trash liner; the panel on the left is a layered patina with opaque wax overlay, and the center connecting piece is a s section of eucalyptus leaf patina stitched across the two.
